About the Journal
The contents in this site are currently archived materials published in folio: Writing and Critical Thinking in the University Scholars Programme. It was published by the University Scholars Programme (USP) of the National University of Singapore. It collects and disseminates student work produced for the compulsory first year Writing and Critical Thinking course, and had the aim of contributing to the development of culture of writing as an integral part of student-centred education.
This site is also currently being folded into the forthcoming version of the same publication, which will eventually be restyled as folio: Journal of Writing in the NUS College, reflecting the legacy of the USP in its successor institution, the NUS College (NUSC), but also encompassing the mission of representing excellent written work submitted to all courses.
